Setting off at 09.00 from the port in Vodice. Ride to Opat entrance (SE entrance to the national park) around 10.20. Leaving for open sea, cruising through the national park beneath the cliffs, with the view of the highest cliff Klobučar. Around 11.15 entering the middle channel, lunch on board the ship, riding to church Our Lady of Tarac and view of Tureta fortress from 16th ct. Arrival to Nature Park Telašćica at 12, bathing in a salt lake or sea, visiting lookout on the cliffs, with the option of buying souvenirs, visiting restaurants or relaxing in a thick pine woods. Return set for 14.45 by the upper route, leaving through passage Mala Proversa with archeological remains from the Roman era, riding through Žut-Sit group of islands (Upper Kornati), along the south side of Murter through a fishing settlement, Tribunj. Return to Vodice set for 17:30. *Note: in case of bad weather the route could be slightly changed. Thanks to its exquisite natural beauty, well indented coast, unspoiled nature and rich maritime flora and fauna, Kornati aquatorium was proclaimed national park in 1980. It stretches on 220 square meters, and it comprises of 89 islands, islets and reefs. Kornati National Park abounds in uniqueness and beauties, as well as its natural and cultural heritage. Magnificent lookouts reveal a unique view of unspoiled and extraordinary nature. Steep cliffs, so called ‘crowns’ of Kornati islands present one of the most conspicuous natural phenomena in Kornati. These are cliffs in numerous islands of Kornati National Park, which overlook the open sea, where rare species are found. Nature Park Telašćica is an area of preserved nature, a contrast to peaceful inlets and Lake Mir. Three natural phenomena of Telašćica are also its main features: Telašćica inlet, as the biggest and safest natural port in the Adriatic, so called ‘cliffs’ located in Dugi otok, reaching 161 meter above sea level, sinking into 90 m depth, and Mir Salt Lake with its healing properties. Rich Mediterranean vegetation comprises of 500 plant species. The underwater world comprises of more than 300 plant and 300 animal species.
